Finance Assistant
WealthOS is a cloud-native wealth management technology company building modern, API-first infrastructure for digital investments, pensions, and savings products. Key responsibilites
Financial Record Management – Assist in preparing, maintaining, and updating financial records and accounting documentation. Collect invoices, organize files, and maintain accurate records in Xero to ensure proper financial tracking and compliance.
Financial Reporting and Analysis – Support month-end and year-end closing activities, preparation of financial statements, variance analysis, budgets, forecasts, and ad hoc financial reports to assist management decision-making.
Bookkeeping and Reconciliation – Perform bookkeeping activities under the supervision of the Assistant Finance Manager using Xero, including bank reconciliations, payment plan updates, petty cash management, and maintaining accurate accounting records.
Compliance and Tax Coordination – Assist in ensuring compliance with accounting principles, tax regulations, and company policies. Prepare EPF/ETF schedules and coordinate with banks, tax consultants, auditors, suppliers, and the IRD on finance-related matters.
Process Improvement and Operational Support – Support data migration initiatives, workflow development, and accounting process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reporting accuracy.
Staff Coordination and Administrative Support – Coordinate with staff on wellness allowance preparation and payment schedules while supporting general administration functions, document logistics, and finance-related correspondence.
You might be 'the one' if,
- You are pursuing or have completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or hold CA/CIMA/AAT part qualifications.
- You have a minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting or finance.
- You have strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- You are proficient in accounting software, especially Xero, and Microsoft Office applications.
- You have strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
- You possess effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams and stakeholders.
- You are able to work independently, manage priorities effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- You are eager to learn, adaptable, and motivated to contribute to continuous process improvements and operational excellence.
