Tech Lead

WealthOS, a cloud-native SaaS provider, is building the next-gen enterprise wealth management platform for UK, US, and European clients. We're seeking a seasoned, creative Technical Lead to drive engineering excellence, architecting cutting-edge solutions that will define the future of wealth management.

• Lead a team of 4-6 developers, and be responsible for the quality and timely delivery of business features and non-functional requirements.
• Develop an in-depth understanding of the WealthOS code base. Use this knowledge to provide day-to-day guidance to developers, including technical designs, code reviews, hands- on coding for complex implementations, and troubleshooting guidance for production issues.
• Review the team's code and technical designs to ensure best practice compliance, maintainability, and implementation of scalable software architecture standards.
• Work in an agile environment: take end-to-end ownership of stories from design to production; guide the team through prioritising, estimating and tracking their work to completion.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects and QA Engineers to design and build the WealthOS platform.
• Actively participate in client meetings, demos, and presentations when required to provide technical expertise and insights to address client needs and showcase our solutions.

• You have a collaborative, positive attitude - we are a close-knit team, and are looking for someone who wants to grow with us.
• You have spent six years or more working as a developer in an agile environment, with at least one year or more in a team lead role.
• You have a strong proficiency in any modern programming language (JavaScript/Typescript, Java, Go, Rust, Python, or C++). Experience in JavaScript/TypeScript and React is a definite plus.
• You can effectively communicate and collaborate with different parts of the organisation, including product owners, Architects and QA engineers.
• You must have a strong understanding and experience in microservices architecture, SaaS concepts, functional & non-functional testing, DevOps, CI/CD, cloud deployments, and infrastructure automation strategies.
• Prior exposure to some or all of the following is a bonus: Building enterprise fintech platforms, hands-on development experience with MERN stack, Redis, Docker, Terraform, APIs (REST, Web Sockets, WebHooks), and AWS technologies, such as Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, SQS, CloudFormation, and SAM.
